During her graveyard shifts, Chun Chun encountered people from all walks of life, including Jun Yuan, a charismatic young man whom she thought to be the love of her life. Just as Chun Chun thought she had finally found her happily ever after, Jun Yuan begins to reveal his true colours, dragging Chun Chun into a downward spiral mess in the world of drugs…

How far would you go for love?

Abuse goes beyond the physical injuries

Psychological or emotional abuse can have a detrimental impact on you. These abusive behaviours often take the form of exerting power and control in the relationship to minimize your self-esteem while isolating you from your family and friends. Break the vicious cycle of abuse, and pledge your support now.

Having worked closely with Singapore Prison Service recently, I was curious about how life was like for the female inmates and it was so devastating to hear that most of the female inmates were in there because of love. They were all manipulated in one way or another by someone they love or the love that they had for someone. To these vulnerable females, they feel like they no longer have anything else to lose because they’ve already been through the system but that’s not true. There are support systems such as Gem New Start Centre / Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support out there that can help them get back on their feet and to start afresh.

With these in mind, I would like to use this short film as a reminder to all females out there that they are not alone and that there are support systems in place to help them out of a toxic situation."
